Our trained and certified instructors make sure you learn the right way and have a good time doing it. There are several lesson options — which one suits you depends on your age, your confidence and how much you want included.
Where you learn
The Learning Zone is sculpted terrain plus teaching aids designed to make learning as easy as possible. The Magic Carpet takes the work out of getting back to the top.
- HeadStart Zone — just outside the Rental Shop, for skiers. Start on the flats and move to steeper terrain as your skills and confidence grow, then progress to the HeadStart fun course on the Bunny Hill.
- Burton Learn to Ride — starter terrain outside the rental shop that makes the snowboard basics fun and simple.
- Burton Riglet Park — the first of its kind in Canada, developing young riders in a bright, cheerful park full of features.
Lesson options
- Discover Skiing & Snowboarding — group lesson with lift ticket and rental included. The simplest first day.
- Private Lesson Package — a one-hour private lesson with lift ticket and rental included.
- Private Lesson — one on one with an instructor. Rental equipment and lift ticket are not included.
- Night Discover — the same introduction, under the lights.
Lessons are pre-booked in the webstore; current prices are on the Shop page. A lift ticket or season pass is required during any lesson.
