Know the risk, manage the risk
Sliding downhill on snow involves inherent risks that no resort can remove — changing snow and weather, variable terrain, other people, and equipment that can fail. By skiing or riding at Martock you accept these risks. The good news: most incidents are preventable with control, awareness and the right habits.
Manage your day
- Ski and ride in control and within your ability.
- Wear a helmet and check your equipment before you load.
- Match the terrain to your level — read the trail map.
- Take a lesson to build skills the safe way.
- Follow the Alpine Responsibility Code at all times.
All guests are required to sign a waiver acknowledging these risks — see Waivers & Forms.
